Statement from Horsham Matters
Along with everyone else these times are very challenging. We are constantly updating our processes and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and the members of public we are supporting.
The Charity team are very busy with our Foodbank operation; ensuring that vulnerable residents have food. Last week we fed approximately 175 people and we are well under way to exceed that this week.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for your food donations they are making a huge difference to our clients facing difficult times.
In light of the most recent Government advice we have stood down all of our volunteers. During this period we want to encourage people to stay in their homes as well as keeping themselves well and safe.
Thank you very much for the monetary donations we have received to date; this is hugely impactful to our Charity’s continued work. It is hard to ask for contributions during these unprecedented times, but if you would like to donate your ‘going out’ fund, for example what you would normally spend on a coffee we would be very grateful. You can donate on our Just Giving page:
Our thanks in advance for your support.
We wish you all good health.
